The pack includes 2x2km landscape with a photoscanned rocks that were excavated from a clay soil and dried up on a sun, making them look truly unique and perfect for mimicking exoplanetary origin.
The landscape streaches really far visually, due to 3 mountain distant meshes placed all around.
The rocks were scattered using procedural spawners and placed manually in a key spots.
Every asset that requires multiple materials is using material layers system with vertex colors masks. This method ensures that the meshes have as few material slots as possible, reducing number of draw calls for maximum performance.
The outpost modules are using 2 trim sheets for interior details, coupled with 3 tileable materials. The exterior uses 1 tileable material with dirt version being vertex painted, with a layer of custom dirt mask and automatic angle based dust for the most realistic result.
Update 01 - The project supports now Lumen lighting for 5.0+
